In 2017 approximately 1.3 trillion photos were taken and nowadays almost 80% of digital photos never leave the phone/camera.
In addition, many of us inherit photo albums, boxes of photos, slides and negatives from elderly relative that we feel we can’t necessarily throw away, but we don’t know what to do with them and we feel totally overwhelmed.
What would happen if there was a fire or flood? Do you have photos backed up on computers but with no organisation to them? Would you like to create a photo-book as a gift but no idea where to start? Are all your photos in a box with no rhyme or reason to how they’re stored?
The process of sorting through your photos or those you have inherited can be overwhelming. It is vital however to organise them so they can be kept safe in special boxes, put into photo-books or albums, scanned and backed up to share for future generations.
Space for Less is a member of www.appo.org and through training and their detailed certification programme can help with the following:
- sorting through printed photographs using the ABC’S method
- Scanning and backing up of photos to be kept
- Design and development of photo-books as gifts or for events
